How Can Hypnosis And Coaching Help Me Lose Weight
If you have had a weight issue for any length of time you probably have
tried just about anything. The grapefruit diet, the subway diet, Atkins,
weight watchers, various potions, drinks and bars or my favorite (UGG)
the cabbage soup diet.
They all seemed to work, at least for a while
that is. But sooner or later you got tired of eating grapefruit or
whatever it was and
you drifted off the program. Chances are like many people you also
discovered that along the way you picked up even more weight that when
you started trying to lose.
My father in law used to say, "If the only tool in your tool kit is a
hammer then every problem looks like a nail." Achieving your ideal
weight and staying there is a complex problem. Why would you only use
one tool?
A professional coach will help you to identify your goals and make sure
they are realistic. She will look beyond you immediate weight issue to
assure you are creating a balanced life. A coach will hold you
accountable without judgment and help you to make decisions that are in
your best interest.
Working with a coach weekly will help you stay
motivated. When
you get off track your coach will be able to gently but firmly guide you
back. Choose your coach wisely. It needs to be someone you feel
comfortable with and can relate to. Interview several before choosing.

ribbon. Studies have shown that by adding hypnosis to diet and exercise
could double your weight loss.
Hypnosis is an altered state of awareness during which our subconscious
mind is more open and receptive to suggestions that are given. It is a
very natural state that we drift in and out of many times a day.
Do you ever daydream? Or maybe a really good speaker or preacher or
something on TV has mesmerized you? These are all good examples the
hypnotic state. Your hypnotist is a guide who works with your
imagination to help you achieve your goals. Think of it as adding new
programs to your computer.
No longer will you rely only on your
willpower, being disappointed when it lets you down. Hypnosis is a tool
that can help alter
your behavior patterns. Instead of automatically picking up that bagel
or chocolate cake or whatever your weakness is, your subconscious mind
will have a new program running. With hypnosis you will add a whole new
collection of programs or messages to run.
Your new programs will have
messages encouraging you to eat the right amount of food at just the
right time and even enjoying exercise. With regular use your new
programs will
override the old.
Sure you can dance on one leg but isn't it easier on two? You will still
be the one doing the work (eating right and exercising) but with
coaching and hypnosis in your toolbox you will have what you need to
achieve your ideal weight and keep it.
